I noticed admins deleting uploaded screenshots based on Project:Image_guidelines#Naming: Do NOT upload images using WoW's default screenshot name. (example: WoWScrnShot 030508 223206.jpg).

I'm thinking of just making this a policy. Is anyone opposed?

I'll go through the voting process, if there is any opposition after a week or so. --Gengar orange 22x22.pngBeware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 6:03 PM PST 30 Oct 2009

That's a good idea, a policy backing it would definitely hold more weight than a guideline. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:17, October 30, 2009 (UTC)
Note: don't forget screenshots can be renamed these days. Kirkburn  talk  contr 16:43, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
Renamed before upload or renamed in WoWWiki? --Gengar orange 22x22.pngBeware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 6:34 PM PST 3 Nov 2009
I believe Kirkburn is talking about the Move option on file names now, but from what I've seen Kay has been trying to make certain file names un-uploadable... though there's always ways around it. Yeah, renamed on WoWWiki. Kirkburn  talk  contr 14:39, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
Making the full image guidelines policy or just the naming section? --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 15:38, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
Just the naming section. --Gengar orange 22x22.pngBeware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 6:03 AM PST 5 Nov 2009
