Forum:Inigo Montoy's Father
So, who is Inigo Montoy's dead father, anyway? The most popular opinion is Kel'Thuzad, but I'm not really too comfortable with that, seeing as he is still "with him" as a lich. So then I started wondering: what if Helcular was Montoy's father? After all, he was Kel'Thuzad's apprentice, and he was killed before he could become a lich, something which may have inspired Montoy to follow Kel'Thuzad, and eventually become a lich of his own.

It being Kel'Thuzad isn't too far fetched. They were the same skin colored in life, and some other references are around. For now, who knows.

Hmm... who sais his dead father has something to do with his status as Lich? Maybe Kel'thuzards phylactery corrupted him? Like frostmourne corrupted Arthas? I doesnt think that it seems unreal that something that close to Kel'Thuzard could corrupt... - Magnive
- Yeah, that's possible, too. Imagine he tried to use Kel'Thuzad's phylactery for his own purposes, and the things went... wrong. But, well, it seems he still keeps his mind while lich, so I bet he joined the Scourge voluntarily.--Lon-ami (talk) 08:59, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
