Forum:Infobox - Mentor field

So when did this section get added to the infbox? I didn't even notice it until today. Also, WHY did it get added? I don't really see the need to start adding every major character that's connected to everyone else, as it seems like it would just lead to infobox bloat (for a good example of this, see Thrall's page). Also, on the same general subject, it doesn't seem like there's a great deal of consistency with regards to this field and the relatives field. We have Uther listed as Arthas's mentor, but Jaina isn't listed as a relative because she's his FORMER lover. Well Uther wasn't exactly buddy-buddy with Arthas by the end either. Plus, Archimonde has Kil'jaeden listed as a fellow lieutenant, and Sargeras has both listed as chief lieutenants, but Arthas doesn't have Kel'Thuzad listed at all. Durotan has Orgrim listed as his best friend, but there's no mention of Drek'Thar, who was also very important to him.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is that I think we should limit this section to those that actually ARE family, with exceptions being made for things along the line of Thrall's wolves. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:45, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- If I remember correctly, cause this was almost a year ago, I believe Rolandius requested that be added since at the time the relatives parameter was being used for that.
