- Continuing from Talk:Hyjal Summit#Move and from Talk:Hyjal. Read those too.
Mount Hyjal will be a zone in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. However, we at WoWWiki have at least three pages about the zone: Hyjal, Mount Hyjal and Hyjal Summit. They need to be merged and one name picked. The name should be whatever the final in-game name will be. Alternate names can be noted on the page. The citation needed for (and indeed point of) the opening statement of the current "Hyjal" page and "Mount Hyjal#Zones in Mount Hyjal" are this image and this image. So, the most pages we need are two, as the mountain itself consists of more than one zone, maybe. By the way, the Battle of Mount Hyjal info seems to have been sorted out.--SWM2448 23:58, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

- Unless the Caverns of Time version goes away, I think the description of this historical version of the zone should stay under Hyjal Summit. --

My idea:
- Hyjal (Disambig)
- Mount Hyjal (Cataclysm zone)
- Hyjal Summit (CoT Battle for Mount Hyjal main zone is called this)
Where does the lore go? Mount or Summit? Warthok suggested some stuff on Talk:Hyjal.--SWM2448 18:23, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

- I am mostly done, but some lore may need to be moved from Hyjal Summit to the now bare Mount Hyjal, or it can say how it is and have Mount Hyjal fleshed out with pure in-game info.--SWM2448 23:35, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've been looking at how things have been organized in the past and i want to retract the suggestion i just made about combing Mount Hyjal and Hyjal Summit. Looking at Caverns of Time Old Hillsbrad i think the way it is right now is fine. Escape from Durnholde Keep/Battle for Mount Hyjal present objectives/bosses/raid information. Old Hillsbrad Foothills/Hyjal Summit present info about the zone itself, and Hillsbrad Foothills/Mount Hyjal present current zone info.
- The only problem is where we put the background lore, most of which is from the RPGs. In the RPGs the lore is under Hyjal Summit so should we put the lore on that page and on the top of the Mount Hyjal page put a "This article is about the in game zone, for background lore see Hyjal Summit". Or since the Hyjal summit article is simply about the setting for Battle of Mount Hyjal should we move the lore over to Mount Hyjal and redirect users looking for lore there?Warthok Talk Contribs 00:03, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- That second one is how I'd like to see it: the zone page has all the lore, with Hyjal Summit presenting only the info on the instance. Having a third page for the lore is unneeded and doesn't match with how things have been done in the past. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 01:01, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
