Pretty self-descriptive! I noticed this a few days ago; a few ability tooltips are inaccurate on Wowhead, mostly missing additional features/clauses. This appears to be related to a bug in-game, where viewing an ability available only to another spec in your current spec will give a weird version of the tooltip, missing references to abilities or resources that aren't available to your current spec. For example viewing Evangelism in Shadow does not state "Penance"; and viewing SW:D in Disc does not mention Shadow Orbs or the reset feature. The bug is apparently also in effect for the official talent calculator.

This seems to be limited to relatively few abilities, but as we go through the process of updating data for 6.0.2, it should be noted that there's a reasonable chance key data may be missing. This is particularly important if you're documenting changes or trying to figure out why X doesn't do Y any more, but isn't mentioned in the patch notes.

My recommendation for the time being is to ignore this and just get on with updating the wiki, unless you have reason to believe that it's wrong; in which case checking in-game (in the right spec) will work to set things straight. Hopefully it will get sorted before long, and any discrepancies will get corrected, but in the meanwhile it's better not to let it delay updating all the changes. -- Taohinton (talk) 00:06, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

On the bright side, the two examples I'm aware of both check out on WoWDB with the correct versions. Perhaps I'll switch databases for a while... -- Taohinton (talk) 00:09, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
