I am working on fleshing out the new leatherworking patterns. I've created  [Misthide Boots] as a starter article. While crafting uncommon pieces, leatherworkers (and I'm assuming other gear crafters as well) have a chance to create a rare version of the item. I'm a bit stumped on how to handle this and there are no other examples I can find to go off of. Should I create a new article for the rare version ( [Misthide Boots]) since it has a different itemid? -- Alianin T • C 17:47, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

For now, just do Misthide Boots (rare) and link it from Misthide Boots. Part of me feels like it'd be easier to do it as a secondary tab like we do with Heroic versions of items, but since the affixes are also improved it's not such a simple answer. But it's probably better to have the page exist and then move it than to not create it until we've worked out the optimal way to display it. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:23, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
