Forum:Faction disambiguation frustration

Been working on Quest:Shadowmoon Burial Grounds pages. As far as I know, I did everything "right"; I made Quest:Shadowmoon Burial Grounds (Alliance), then made Quest:Shadowmoon Burial Grounds (Horde), copying over and readjusting the text for Horde information. I then created a faction disambiguation page. However, Quest:Shadowmoon Burial Grounds keeps showing up as Quest:Shadowmoon Burial Grounds (Horde) (as shown on Project:Sandbox/1 as of this write-up). I've blanked and/or saved over pre-existing red links of the three pages which usually updates them properly, but it still won't display as it should. I don't want to keep adjusting live pages if what I know doesn't work, and I'm just extremely frustrated with all of it.--Mondoblasto (talk) 18:14, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
- The name of the quests on the articles aren't suppose to have the (Horde)/(Alliance) at the end, only the quest name. From my understanding, the faction disambiguation is grabbing the quest name from the Horde side so it was displaying the (Horde) at the end. If you're still not sure what I've done, just look at my edits for the alliance side and the horde side of the quest. I have not seen any other quests with this such (Alliance)/(Horde) text in the name part of {{Questbox}}. I'm glad you decided not to over frustrate yourself, hopefully you'll learn from this and not make the same mistake again. Everyone makes mistakes.

- I've made edits to Help:Quest_articles/Preload and {{Questbox/doc}} with information about the name section should never contain (Alliance) or (Horde). — Surafbrov T / C 18:41, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
- Ugh, thank you. Not that I think back, I never have actually added (Horde)/(Alliance) at the end before, and I got stuck with doing so after seeing it with some other quests recently. Kinda feel like smacking myself now. :P--Mondoblasto (talk) 23:16, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
