Find Herbs is a starting ability of the primary profession Herbalism which shows nearby herbs as gold herbs (
) on the minimap.
If you mouse-over the dot on the mini-map if will show what type of herb you will be able to receive. Note that all herb clumps are shown, regardless of the Herbalist's ability to actualy harvest it or not.
If the dot is grey, it means the herb is growing underground in a cave or dungeon.
Prefixed herbs will display as a 
on the minimap.
Patch changes
Patch 10.2.5 (2024-01-16): Prefixed herbs now display a white highlight on both sides of the icon to differentiate them from their regular counterparts. - Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Mini-map icon changed to a
icon, from a 
gold blip.
