This piece appears on pages 64-65 of The Art of Blizzard Entertainment with the following commentary:
- Samwise: This is Wei's fan art. Ever since then, Blizzard has not been the same.
- Chris M.: Wei had sent it to Mike Morhaime and Mike went, 'Wow. This is amazing.' Based on that, we had to find this kid, so we contacted Wei. I think he was working with the Chinese office at the time, and we got his portfolio, and it was just mind-blowing. We offered him a chance to paint for us, and he worked out of the Chinese office for a couple of years. And he just got better, and better, and better, and then we wound up ultimately moving him over here to the United States and he became one of our top illustrators.
