- "When we were originally designing the blood elves, specifically Kael'thas, we went with the idea that they were the cracked-out mana fiends; full on just addicted to the corrupting powers of magic. They were always, in my mind, like the rock star types of the Warcraft world—thin, emaciated, long hair, super tall, pretty, and arrogant. I joked, but it was true, the original Kael'thas was based on Sebastian Bach from Skid Row. Just a big, tall, arrogant cock. With green balls flying around." —Samwise Didier
