Farming Hinterland turtles
Far east on the coast of The Hinterlands in the Eastern Kingdoms continent is a great place for players with a skinning profession to make some quick gold. There are lots of them and they have a fast respawn rate. They will also not attack you unless attacked first, with the exception of one turtle called Gammerita. It is recommended to be in a group of level 35+ or you can easily handle them solo at level 50+ Although you will want to be 5+ levels higher to allow for killing them quicker.

[Big-Mouth Clam]

- These fragments drop as part of a quest but a stack of 5 can be sold to a vendor for 45 silver. These drop quite often.
[Turtle Meat]
- This meat drops fairly regularly and can be sold on the auction house for a decent markup or used in cooking.
[Thick Scaly Tail]
- This is basically useless and not worth farming for profit.
[Raw Spotted Yellowtail]
- This meat drops somewhat rarely, and can be used in cooking.
