Faltora was the younger brother of Koltira Deathweaver. He wanted to ask Merriel to attend a banquet with him, being a little shy Koltira grabbed him and spoke in his place, but the real reason was because he smelt rotting meat in the air. Thassarian, pursuing the mooncrystal to open the second elfgate, attacked at An'owyn. When Merriel was killed, Faltora attempted to avenge her by rushing Thassarian, but proved no match. The death knight nearly killed Faltora, but, upon remembering his mother's death, Thassarian hesitated and spared him. However, while attempting to flee the attack with Koltira, Faltora was slain by an Abomination, cleaved in half by its sickle.
Thassarian then left to return to Arthas with the mooncrystal he had recovered.[1]
