It is an exclusive choice node with [Seal of Order].

Patch changes

  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-08-07): Now creates an absorb shield for 3% of the healing or damage done from Holy Power generators (was 10%). Does not apply to PvP.
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 (2023-07-11):
    • Now forms an absorb shield based off of 10% of damage or healing dealt (was 20%).
    • Fixed an issue that caused Fading Light to not function as expected with [Tower of Radiance].
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-05-11): [Holy Prism] and [Light's Hammer] now grant a shield when cast with Fading Light's Blessing of Dusk.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-04-05): Blessing of Dusk causes your Holy Power generating abilities to also grant an absorb shield for 3% of damage or healing dealt (was 10%).
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-03-28): Fixed an issue causing Fading Light to sometimes apply an absorb with no value.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-03-27):
    • Fixed an issue that caused Fading Light's value to be higher than intended for Retribution Paladins.
    • Effectiveness reduced by 50% for Retribution Paladins in PvP combat.
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.7 (2023-03-21): Added.
