Objectives

Work with Lorash to disarm Astranaar.

Description

Hundreds of rogues have already attacked kaldorei outposts in Ashenvale. On my signal, they will begin the next phase of this war: sowing chaos.

My colleague died not far from here, <name>, so I could use your help. If we stay out of sight, the town won't even know it's under attack before we have all of its guards down.

I have a poison that will kill them quickly and silently. If you signal to me which targets are safe to attack without being noticed, I will put them down.

Notes

On accept
Lorash says: First, let me signal the others to begin their assault.
Lorash kneels and lights a fire.
Lorash says: This fire burns with purple smoke. They should see it rise above the trees soon.
Lorash mounts and follows you around.
Lorash says: After you, <name>. You mark the safe targets, I'll bring them down.

Get to Astranaar, then stay on the ground. Lorash will use his [Shroud of Concealment] to keep himself and the adventurer in stealth. Use the Marked! extra action button to target Astranaar Sentinels, and Captain Alennah Starsong, who is training her units. The Astranaar Priestess and civilians (Innkeeper Kimlya, Fahran Silentblade, Nantar, Llana, Dalria) can also be targeted, triggering special dialogue from Lorash, but they don't count towards the objective.

Captain Alennah Starsong says: No rest until your drills are complete!
Captain Alennah Starsong says: Strike like the wind! Parry!
Captain Alennah Starsong says: Focus on your partner! Strike with purpose!
Upon death with poison, NPCs exclaim one of the following
  • I just need... to rest...
  • My throat... it's closing up!
  • Everything is so... dark...
  • My chest is... I can't breathe!
  • I... feel strange.
Lorash prefers to kill Starsong himself
Lorash says: Ahhh, no no. This one belongs to me.
Lorash says: Nothing quite as satisfying as taking out an Alliance commander. And so easily...
Poisoning a dueling Sentinel
  • Astranaar Sentinel says: Oh my... did I just... are you okay?!
  • Astranaar Sentinel says: Commander! She just... collapsed?!
  • Astranaar Sentinel says: Sister, are you okay?! I didn't mean to strike so hard!
Poisoning Astranaar Priestesses and civilians
  • Lorash says: You're cold as ice. I like it.
  • Lorash says: Technically, we don't need to kill the civilians... but I like your style.
  • Lorash says: That wasn't a guard, but far be it from me to stop us from murdering the Alliance.
  • Lorash says: Hey, careful with the civilians. You may draw the guards' attention.
Poisoning Maluressian in his sleep
Lorash says: I'm going to look away on that one. I can't say I've killed a man in his sleep before.
Upon aggro out of stealth
  • Lorash says: Try not to get spotted! We can't draw too much attention...
  • Lorash says: Kill this one quickly, before they alert the others!
  • Lorash says: Damn! This was supposed to be quick and quiet. Focus!
  • Lorash says: Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy! Make less noise next time!

Lorash says: That should do it. How does it feel to single-handedly sack an entire city, <name>?
