Duan Phen was a lookout on the Wavestrider. She was 15 years old, being the third youngest member of the crew. She liked Aram's sketches, and the boy actually liked her. Most of the time, she was located in her perch in the crow's nest. After the battle against the Hidden, Aram and Makasa Flintwill said that neither of them saw her during the fight.[1]

- She was described as being slim, and almost boyish. She has light gray eyes and long silky raven-black hair.[1]
