Dreadlord Mendacius is a nathrezim located in the Demon Ward in the Vault of the Wardens. He appears at the door preceding the Vault of Ice after Blade Dancer Illianna is killed.

Trivia
His name seems to be derived from the Latin word mendax (genitive mendacis), meaning "liar" (or from mendacium, "lie"). The form mendacius does not exist in Latin.
