Dread Captain Genest is the ghostly skeletal captain of the Dread Ship Vazuvius. He is buried at the Cursed Gravestone in the Misty Strand on Timeless Isle, but can be called forth using a 
[Mist-Filled Spirit Lantern]. The 
[Time-Worn Journal] implies that he and his crew (and possibly the ship itself) were devoured by Evermaw before becoming ghostly pirates.

Notes
- Dread Captain Genest summons and provides all dialogue for the encounter with the Dread Ship Vazuvius, but he himself is untargetable and plays no role mechanically in the battle itself.
- He is likely named for performance artist Rick Genest, also known as the "Zombie Boy," who is himself tattooed head to toe to resemble a skeleton.
