This pet was originally available from the Blizzard Shop or the In-Game Store for $10 or €10. It was released on 3 December 2019.^[1]

On the 17th of September, 2023, it was removed from the Battle.net Shop 'indefinitely'.^[2]

Dottie was made available again in 2023 as a Twitch drop from November 7th to the 14th.^[3]

Dottie is the 2019 charity pet. From December 3 through December 31, 100% of the purchase price (less any chargebacks, refund and VAT or other similar taxes paid) will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation and WE.org.^[1]
Dottie's name is a combination of Meerah's alpacas Dolly and Dot.
