The Delver's Journey is a seasonal rewards track for delves, found on the Delve Dashboard. Delver's Journey progress is granted at the end of Bountiful Delves, as well as from the quest 
[70-80W] The Key to Success. For every 4,200 Delver's Journey progress, a new reward is unlocked. There are 10 total unlocks per season—mostly cosmetics and other items that can be purchased from Reno Jackson or Sir Finley Mrrgglton at the Delver's Headquarters in Dornogal.

Openin' a Heavy Trunk, Bountiful Coffer, or Hidden Trove at the end of any delve will earn ye progress to access the rewards we've found.
The harder the delve, the more progress you'll earn!
Bountiful delves award progress based on the tier of the delve, with no key required:

Additionally, should the seasonal foe make a surprise appearance, the item it drops is worth 60 progress. A 
[Bountiful Coffer] opened with a 
[Restored Coffer Key] is worth 250 progress regardless of tier. Finally, defeating packs of enemies affected by the seasonal foe's influence will award additional progress.
The weekly quest [70-80W] The Key to Success, started by the 
[Archaic Cipher Key] found in a delve chest, awards 1,500 progress.
