Decayed Whale Blubber can be fished up from the Great Sea around the Broken Isles, as well as from Black Barracuda Schools; it has an increased chance to be caught by using an  [Arcane Lure]. It can also be purchased from Impus for 25 .

When used, it will be placed on the ground, which will attract flies; these can be looted to receive the  [Ravenous Fly]. The fly allows one to catch  [Ancient Black Barracuda]. If it is used after having obtained the  [Underlight Angler], one will instead be able to catch Ancient Black Barracuda.
