Dark Soil piles can be found randomly all over the Heartland of Valley of the Four Winds, as well as other level 90 daily questing areas. Dark Soil contains one of the following gifts for members of the Tillers:
While you can turn in any gift to any Tiller, giving them the ones that they like will reward you with 900 reputation rather than 540.
Once you reach Best Friend status with all applicable Tillers, Dark Soil no longer becomes lootable.
