Chaplain
- This article is about the character class. For the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne unit, see Chaplain (Warcraft III).
Chaplains are holy men and women, sharing the same functions of priests and clerics as worshipers of the Light in the ranks of the Church of the Holy Light and the Scarlet Crusade.[1] They are mostly attached to secular institutions such as libraries and chapels, or can be deployed on a battlefield as a part of a military unit.
In the Burning Legion, the demonic shivarra serve as priestesses and military chaplains, as they live only to evangelize the power of Sargeras' dread vision.[2][3]
In Warcraft III
During the invasion of Durotar, the Kul Tiras navy deployed its chaplains as well as their elites, under the guidance of a superior officer. All of them were known to have a [Mana Burn] or [Dispel Magic]-like spell, and various sacred spells such as Heal and Inner Fire.

Notes
- The Kul Tiran chaplains of Warcraft III don't appear in Battle for Azeroth, which mostly depicts Kul Tiras as a nation that worships the sea rather than the Light, although Light-worshipping Kul Tirans can still be found in Drustvar.[4][5][6]
