Cleanup

This category should probably be cleaned up to contain mostly human undead, since it's the name of the race in WoW. Mobs like Jurion the Deceiver have nothing to do here, he's already categorized as a shade. Not sure about people like Trollgore though. It seems someone treated this category as "anyone categorized as Undead in-game". Xporc (talk) 14:17, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

If not outright "human" undeads, then probably at least "humanoid" yeah. PeterWind (talk) 14:24, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, by human undead, I simply meant people using the Forsaken model ^^ Xporc (talk) 14:26, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
There, I went through all Scourge mobs. Many of them use the playable human undead model and were simply tagged as "Scourge". This proves that this category at least is needed! Xporc (talk) 18:16, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
So why did u add this category to several pages when there's the Forsaken category? --Mordecay (talk) 18:19, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
Because I am of the opinion that eventualllyyy, all Forsaken should be tagged as undead character for their race + Forsaken as their faction. Xporc (talk) 18:20, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
Okay. --Mordecay (talk) 18:49, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
Just to clarify, is the goal to have the forsaken undead characters in a category simply called "Forsaken" or "Forsaken characters"? I assume the latter, but just to be sure. PeterWind (talk) 20:50, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
The way I'd see it, we would have the current "Undead characters" category. Then we would have a "Forsaken characters" category which would inherit from both "Undead characters" and "Forsaken". Would that be OK for you?Xporc (talk) 20:54, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
Yes yes, was just making sure I understood the plan for your new categories correctly :) PeterWind (talk) 20:59, 22 August 2017 (UTC)

Use of the category

Alright, so recently I've seen Mordecay trying to add this category to Rooksguard members, but I don't believe this is necessary, because the information of them being undead is already contained in the Rooksguard category itself. It's also why we don't tag zombies, banshees, shades, death knights or abominations with the "Undead characters" category even though they are certainly both undead and characters. Well, if the rooksguard contain no living members, I have no issue with just having that category be enough. PeterWind (talk) 20:27, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
