Category talk:Dark Iron dwarf characters

This category previously contained everything related to the Dark Iron clan AND the Dark dwarves - everything was mixed together. Since then, I've started cleaning up and creating various categories to properly shift content around. Eventually this category will be moved to Category:Dark Iron dwarf characters. Now the problem is the distinction between that and Category:Dark Iron dwarf characters.

For all the "Anvilrage", "Dark Iron", "Doomforge", "Shadowforge" and "Thaurissan" mobs, as well as everyone situated in Blackrock Depths, the distinction is rather obvious. But what about the Venture Co. peole and Archmage Kreimhold? Are they Dark Iron clan-affiliated dark dwarves, or merely dark dwarves? Xporc (talk) 15:09, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

I'm starting to have second guesses about putting the Alliance-affiliated dark dwarves of Gorgrond as "just" dark dwarves instead of dark iron dwarves... On the one hand we have people like Burrian Coalpart who are Thorium Brotherhood members, and on the other hand we have Dark Iron Dwarf (Gorgrond). Is there any actual lore about the affiliation (or not) to the Dark Iron clan of all these dwarves? There's also the title of  [15-40] Dark Iron Down but I don't see them as canon ...
