Buffed.de is a German MMO news website with its included WoW client, called BLASC, for data harvesting and profile uploading to a database similar to that of Allakhazam and Thottbot. Other features of the website include a weekly podcast and a video show, reporting and commenting on the latest MMO news and announcements. While all notable MMOs are covered, most news articles and a majority of the media content are about World of Warcraft.
History
The database BLASC (Black-Legion Advanced Statistics Crawler), started as a fan project of the guild Black Legion,[dead link] and was bought in August 2006 by Computec Media for their new online format, Buffed.de, which went online during that year's Games Convention.
