Bronze Strongbox

The Bronze Strongbox can be obtained through battleground matches. The type of Strongbox that can be obtained will be dependent on the performance of the battle.

  • For flag capturing battlegrounds (e.g. Warsong Gulch), the type of box is dependent on how many flags have been captured. If a faction captures 3 flags, each member of that faction will be rewarded with the  [Gold Strongbox]; 2 flags,  [Silver Strongbox]; 1 flag, Bronze Strongbox; 0 flags, no strongbox. The losing team can still obtain the Silver Strongbox if they can capture 2 flags during the match.
  • For resource type battlegrounds (e.g. Arathi Basin), the type of box is dependent on how much resources were collected: 1500 resources,  [Gold Strongbox]; 1000,  [Silver Strongbox]; 500, Bronze Strongbox. Like capturing flags, the losing team can still get up to the Silver Strongbox.

Notes

  • Initially planned, it would've been possible to obtain all three strongboxes in a single match but ultimately the live release ended up with a player obtaining only one strongbox corresponding to the criteria they've reached.[1]

Patch changes

  • Warlords of Draenor Patch 6.0.3a (2014-11-13): Call to Arms for Battlegrounds have been removed and replaced with a new reward structure.
