This item can be joined with the  [Top Half of Advanced Armorsmithing: Volume I] to form a book called  [Enchanted Thorium Platemail] which can be turned in Lorekeeper Lydros in the library in Dire Maul in order to get  [Plans: Enchanted Thorium Breastplate].
