Blazing Speed (2 ranks) Tier 6 Fire mage talent Passive Gives you a 5/10% chance when hit by a melee or ranged attack to increase your movement speed by 50% and dispel all movement impairing effects. This effect lasts 8 sec.

Blazing Speed was a mage talent. Blazing Speed provided a very short boost of movement speed. It had a 25-second cooldown and was not affected by the global cooldown.

Patch changes

• Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Removed. Effects merged into [Cauterize].
  
• Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Duration increased from 1 to 1.5 sec.
  
• Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Now a level 15 talent (was 30), replacing [Scorch]. Duration reduced from 1.5 to 1 sec and can be used at any time.
  
• Patch 5.1.0 (2012-11-27): May now be triggered after receiving damage in any amount.
  
• Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now available to all specializations as a level 30 talent (was a tier 2 Fire talent). Redesigned into an active ability. Suppresses movement slowing effects and increases your movement speed by 150% for 1.50 sec. May only be activated after taking a melee or spell hit greater than 2% of your total health, or after you kill an enemy that yields experience or honor. This spell may be cast while a cast time spell is in progress and is not on the global cooldown.

  Old: Gives you a 5/10% chance when hit by a melee or ranged attack to increase your movement speed by 50% and dispel all effects that prevent movement. This effect lasts 8 sec.
  

• Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): No longer dispels movement slowing effects (it still dispels effects that totally stop movement).
  
• Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now a Tier 2 talent (was Tier 6).
  
• Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09):
  • No longer procs while the caster is mounted.
  • Will now remove movement impairing effects when it procs.
    
• Patch 2.0.1 (2006-12-05): Added.
