- Use: Unquenchable and the Hand of Providence vibrate impatiently to be plunged into the corpse of High Inquisitor Whitemane.
The Blades of the Anointed are dual swords called Unquenchable and Hand of Providence, found in the Scarlet Monastery for the quest 
[10-30D] Unto Dust Thou Shalt Return. Together, they are the only weapons that can permanently kill High Inquisitor Whitemane. The first is found on top of Thalnos the Soulrender's crypt and the second is found in the fountain in the courtyard outside the Scarlet Cathedral.
After performing said act, Lilian Voss recovers the blades, noticing that now that they have tasted Whitemane's blood, they changed shape from long white blades into jagged purple-black short swords. She would later use the blades in her personal crusade against the undead in the Scholomance. Darkmaster Gandling described them as "runeblades."

- While Lilian wields the blades, they have the appearance of the heroic
[Bloodsurge, Kel'Thuzad's Blade of Agony].
