Notes
- To take full advantage of the mana drain proc, the wearer might want to use a fast ranged or melee weapon. Dual wielding is ideal.
- The mana drain can fail if the target has no mana or is immune to mana drain. Even in these cases, the wearer will gain 8 mana anyway.
Patch changes
Hotfix (2014-05-27): Black Grasp of the Destroyer's drain mana effect no longer affects targets above level 73. 
Patch 1.11.0 (2006-06-19): Losing targeting on your enemy will no longer prevent you from gaining the mana when this item triggers its effect. - Patch 1.10.0 (2006-03-28): Added.
