Notes and trivia
- The holy-only critical strike chance was changed to spell critical rating and subsequently upgraded to affect all magic schools with the introduction of the rating system.
- Players that have acquired Benediction and
[Anathema] are rewarded
[The Balance of Light and Shadow].
- High Inquisitor Whitemane can be seen wielding Benediction.
- In the League of Explorers adventure of Hearthstone, a splinter of Benediction is located in the Hall of Explorers wing. Brann Bronzebeard mentions that he found it in the Molten Core and that Majordomo Executus used it to pick his teeth.[1]

Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): No longer obtainable.
Patch 1.12.0 (2006-08-22): The cooldown timer on transforming
[Anathema] and Benediction may no longer be circumvented by zoning or logging out.
