Benedict, a member of the Bloodhill Bandits, tried to rob Arthas near a village between the Silver Hand encampment and Strahnbrad by luring him into a trap. He was disguised as a villager and asked for help, but when Arthas approached, he and four bandits attacked Arthas' forces. Arthas and his footmen killed him and his bandits.

Gameplay

Upon his death he dropped a Scroll of Healing. In Warcraft III: Reforged, he drops Perenolde's End.

Benedict seems to have the same stats as a Bandit Enforcer except without the Critical Strike ability or [Evasion].

Trivia

• His name is a possible reference to Benedict Arnold, a famous turncoat during the American Revolution; this is supported considering he is disguised as an ally at first, eventually turning on Arthas and his men.
