Artifice of Time Major Power: Standstill 40 yd range 3 min cooldown Instant Create a time vortex around a friendly target, absorbing X damage and X healing for 4 sec. When this expires, the absorbed damage and healing is delivered over 10 sec. Minor Power: Artifice of Time Passive Your heals have a very high chance to grant the target Y Haste for 6 sec.

Rank 2	Duration of Standstill's time vortex increased by 2 sec. Duration of Artifice of Time increased by 2 sec.
Rank 3	Damage released from Standstill's time vortex is reduced by 20%. Target of Artifice of Time also gains Z Speed.
Rank 4	Standstill gains an enhanced appearance.

Artifice of Time is an Azerite Essence obtained through battlegrounds. This essence can only be used by healer specializations.

For characters who chose a different essence when completing Storming the Battlefields, this item can be purchased for 5  [Mark of Honor] from Marshal Gabriel in Boralus or Xander Silberman in Zuldazar.
• Rank 2 is learned from  [Azerite-Infused Timequartz], obtained by completing  [Battlefield Brawler] and speaking to Marshal Gabriel or Xander Silberman. For characters who chose a different essence first, this item can be purchased for 25  [Mark of Honor].
• Rank 3 is learned from  [Azerite-Fueled Timequartz], obtained by completing  [Battlefield Tactician] and speaking to Marshal Gabriel or Xander Silberman. For characters who chose a different essence first, this item can be purchased for 35  [Mark of Honor].
  • Players who have learned Rank 3 of Artifice of Time, [Blood of the Enemy], or [Sphere of Suppression] on any character have the option to purchase this item for 2,500 [Echoes of Ny'alotha] from MOTHER in the Chamber of Heart.
• Rank 4 is learned from  [Unburdened Azerite Timequartz], obtained by completing  [Battlefield Master] and speaking to Marshal Gabriel or Xander Silberman.

Patch changes

• Hotfix (2019-10-02): [Blood of the Enemy], Artifice of Time, and [Sphere of Suppression] Rank 2 now requires 10,000 Honor (was 15,000 Honor) and Rank 3 now requires 30,000 Honor (was 50,000 Honor).
  

Developers' note: We fixed a bug that incorrectly allowed Honor rewarded from quests and mercenary mode bonuses to contribute toward the "Battlefield Brawler" and "Battlefield Tactician" achievements required to unlock these Essences. To account for [this change], we have reduced the Honor amount necessary to earn these Essences. Rank 4 for these Essences will remain unchanged.
