Annie Lansing is a Forsaken who lacked a jawbone. She was a member of the Desolate Council who participated in the Gathering in the Arathi Highlands. The day before the meeting she went to Galen's Fall and provided her fellow undead with sachets and scarves. During the meeting, she was rejected by her mother. Full of bitterness, she returned to Sylvanas at Thoradin's Wall and agreed that they should have listened to their Dark Lady's warnings about the Gathering.

After returning to the Undercity, Annie discovered that the other Forsaken demanded answers from Sylvanas about the slaughter at the Gathering. As part of her gambit to win the crowd back to her side, Sylvanas had Annie share how her own mother callously rejected her to her fellow Forsaken.
