Ancient Teleport: Dalaran is a mage ability that teleports the mage high above Dalaran Crater[30.91, 36.35] in the Hillsbrad Foothills. Unlike the portal version, the mage will appear low enough to survive the fall damage.

[Ancient Tome of Teleport: Dalaran], found in Scarlet Halls after defeating Flameweaver Koegler.
Patch changes
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now teleports the player character closer to the ground, preventing death from fall damage. 
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Added.
