Alex Horley
Alex Horley, real name Alessandro Orlandelli,[1] is a well known freelance artist and a frequent collaborator with Blizzard Entertainment, currently holding a contract with their Creative Development Department. The first non-Blizzard staff member approved to produce art for their packaging and third party licensed products, Horley eventually partnered with CDev, providing art for the Destination: Pandaria faction stories and doing both conceptual and illustration work on World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor. Horley has also taught traditional painting classes for the World of Warcraft art team, re-iterating the importance of a solid grasp of traditional technique and media.[2]
Horley also did illustrations for the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game and Hearthstone.[3]
