I awaken. I exist once more. And yet...
There is an emptiness within. A lingering tether to a home that no longer exists. So much wonder... so much splendor... lost.
Now I have no purpose. No fate. No path.
Will you teach me of this place, awakener? I sense there is much to be understood. Many secrets. Many truths.
In so doing, perhaps a new fate will emerge.

- So, what have you to say? How did I get here?
We restored you to health using the wildseeds of Ardenweald.
- Ardenweald? So this is the Shadowlands? Don't look surprised that I know about the Shadowlands. I was a god you know.
- I know the answers to many questions. Yet I do not know how I came to be here, or how my world came not to be.
- I imagine I ceased to exist at the same time. Yet now I am restored, but my world is not.
- Are you sure your world was destroyed?
- I would know if it were still there. I can feel its absence.
- Such a terrible sadness. What is a god without a world?
- Where would you have me go? What would you have me do?
- Perhaps we can find you a home here. Find you a new purpose.
- A new purpose? What purpose can there be without my world?
- Yet I cannot simply remain idle. That is not my way.
- I need to understand this existence. This... Shadowlands. I sense many realms, but four that have a special part to play.
- Bring me something from these four realms. Something organic. My kind can discern much from the merest touch.
