The Demon Chain is a quest item used in 
[30-35] The Demon Chain.
History
Forged of elementium, this chain was once attached to the Demon Soul. The residual power from the Demon Soul allows the wearer to control the minds of dragons. How Narkrall Rakeclaw got hold of the chain is yet unknown.

The chain was probably still in the possession of Zaela up until she died. It may be how she controlled proto-dragons in Siege of Orgrimmar and Blackrock Spire. Its fate afterward is unknown, but it may still be in Blackrock Spire where she was at her death.
