Nice

Very nice work on this citation template. Complete with the citation needed and fact templates. I'm more of a UI contributer, but I can see how this could be helpful for Lore. ~Tarog 23:05 PDT 5 May 2006

Thanks! In general I have a hard time finding information about how to use <ref></ref> on even the media wiki pages, so this was very informative. -Howbizr (talk) 23:03, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Ref vs Bluepost

Is {{bluepost}} always the more appropriate? Is {{Ref web}}? Is it dependent on context? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 19:26, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

See Forum:Ref web, bluepost, and blizzforumlink. --Gengar orange 22x22.pngBeware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 12:24 AM PST 23 Sep 2009

Cursed Kittens

With the offsite citation, I've run into a snag, in that edits attempted to be made using external links have seem to have thrown me into a loop - even after choosing the kittens/cats before clicking "publish," I'm sent back to choose a new set. I've had this looping problem before (e.g. the Warcraft film page, which required lots of external linking for sources), but nothing like this. Could this be a glitch, or are some pages more protected than others?--Amh3jhw6 (talk) 21:29, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Please post in the forum post. --g0urra[T҂C] 21:42, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Ref FrameXML

I have added {{Ref FrameXML}} that provides links to Townlong-Yak's reposistory of all the different versions of the WoW code base. This is meant for use on API pages, to improve their quality by substantiating the 'patch changes' section with actual references. DDC (talk) 01:43, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
