Notes
For those willing to spend the money, Wall of the Dead is arguably the best tanking shield in the game, from the mid-40's until level 60. It is not surpassed in AC by any shield prior to Blackrock Depths, and its Strength and Stamina are on par with the best of the Rare shields in the 57+ instances. In addition, it has a chance-on-hit of boosting the user's armor by 150 for 20 seconds, displayed by three bones spinning around the character. Aside from the graphics, though, this effect is negligible: it only amounts to a 7.7% increase in the shield's armor.
