Should we add a spells section to each class list (perhaps after abilities?)

Hi Wormy. Welcome to the Wiki! I think the Warlocks already have a Warlock Spells page, which is a seperate page of its own. The other spell-casting classes will need similar pages setup, its just not been done yet. If you'd like to start one, that'd be fanatastic! Please follow the existing Templates as much as possible. I think the templates themselves may need a little updating though, with Snorelax's new Generic templates (see the template index for those). The Warrior Abilities page is probably the most up-to-date with regard to using the Wiki templates, and the generic template in particular. This is my first wiki. Im doing this from work.. so not alot of time.. but I just put up a section under Warlock Tactics. I did NOT use the template, but I will try to go back and conform to it as soon as I can. I also need to add links..etc. (i guess anyone can adjust it.. hehe). Thanks!

Great! I'm one of those people that can't help tinkering, but I'll try to resist and leave it for you to experiment with a bit for a while :) Any questions, just ask! Oh yeah, and as a first handy tip, you can add your signature by typing -- ~~~ to any comment you make. Add an extra ~ to also append a date. It'll produce something like -- Goldark 15:41, 30 Nov 2004 (EST) - Have fun!

New pages

Hi Wormy,

Some nice new additions you've made recently. Here are a few tips which may help:

  • Pages are case sensitive, so DoT and DOT are two different pages. Please try to check that there isn't an exisiting page with a slightly different spelling, before creating a new page. Another example is World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft. I've setup redirects from the new pages to the old pages to try to save confusion and avoid having multiple definitions of the same terms. Where you've added new content I've copied that across and tried to fit it in.
  • You can setup redirects yourself, just add #REDIRECT [[pageName]] on the first line of a page.
  • There are a number of categories defined in a heirarchical(sp?!) form at Category:Gameplay. There's also a complete list on the main Category page which you can see at http://www.wowpedia.com/index.php?title=Special:Categories. You can add a page to a category by adding [[Category:CategoryName]] at the end of a page. You can do this multiple times to add a page to multiple categories, although this should be the exception rather than the norm. Only add new categories if you are sure they will be useful (i.e. they'll have at least 5 or so pages under them)
