Epic Analysis pages

The item 'template' you're using

It's slightly off. Move the {{BC}} template below the end of the item template, and move {{clrl}} above the picture. Also, don't forget {{elinks}} :). And I would suggest switching to the {{Loot}} template that Zeal set up, rather than the boilerplate.

T:Bc

We are still discussing the need of this template on item pages, it is not necessary (yet) to add the template to existing pages and might turn out to have been pointless. Just ignore this part. --User:Adys/Sig 21:39, 14 February 2007 (EST)

Feel free to do as you want, it doesn't actually matter (I personally wouldn't add it, but some will disagree). But editing a page just to add it might be a timewaste. --User:Adys/Sig 21:54, 14 February 2007 (EST)

bc equip

Tbh, we really shouldn't have lists like that be that segmented. If anything should happen, it should be the addition of those swords and +fire/frost damage gear, rather than a move back. It seems a little silly to me to have an entire article so specific to one class.
In the end, do whatever floats your bubble. I'm not sure I care enough to stop you. It was one of those offhand moves, like, "why is this so specific?".--Sky 17:36, 3 March 2007 (EST)

RC Patrol

I'm not sure you've noticed, but there are now little red exclamation marks on the RC changes list. :) You don't really need to worry about them. All that I ask is that you go to your Preferences page. From there, go the Editing tab. The second option from the bottom should say "Mark edits I make as patrolled." They're to say "This page has been edited. Can you make sure it wasn't a malicious change?" The group is supposed to go to the differences tab on the RC changelist. On the top right, it will say "Mark as patrolled". Obviously, mark it if it isn't. If it's not, have a chat with an admin or reverse the changes.
When you checked that box, it just means that an exclamation point won't show up next to your edits. I have it checked, and so should the majority of the group. There's a link floating around that can show you who's in what group, which would, for the majority, include the admins as well as a few others.
In any case, you don't need to worry about it. It's just so my eyes hurt a little less looking at all the red. ;P--Sky (t · c · w) 23:43, 25 March 2007 (EDT)

concerning the "no icon outside tooltip" policy

Just curious why you think it should be that way ( [Fang of Vashj]). Looking at  [Fang of Venoxis],  [Fang of the Faceless],  [Fang of Korialstrasz], ... it seemed pretty much in line with "common editing" to me. Furthermore it looks much more pleasant with the large icon. And I think a TOC isn't really necessary in an article that short. --FallingDown 12:37, 5 April 2007 (EDT)

BC healing guide - mail

I like the readability of your edit to BC healing equipment (mail), but I feel that we've lost some important data (stamina, intellect, and especially MP5) while giving up important screen space for unimportant text ("Wowhead") and mostly-data-free columns (sockets). Shamans in particular are very sensitive to the level of MP5 on their item. I would much rather that we have an MP5 column, and perhaps an "other stats" column, than spend the screen space as we are currently doing. Oryx 00:19, 30 April 2007 (EDT)

Float parameter in Tooltip

For the Float parameter in the {{Tooltip}} template, could you start using the same syntax as shown in the Help:Item articles template? If you just have "right" as the float parameter, we have issues when transcluding the tooltip into other pages, such as listing the rewards on a quest page. Black Temple Loot

Either narrow down the table or keep the clr. 1024x768 is the most common resolution, and you shouldn't expect people to have bigger/wider resolutions. At its current width, it collides with the dungeon table on the average screen resolution. —Pzychotix (talk · contr) 10:58, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

I thought it's a temporary stuff that will be removed sooner or later anyway... IMO it's unnecessary bloat but I could leave it be if needed, of course. Vysogota T / C

BR tags

I've noticed a couple of your edits are removing PTR tags, but also changing line break HTML tags from "<br />" to "<br/>" (removing the space). Is there a specific reason for this, or is it a feature of some tool you are using to scrape data from somewhere? I'd like to know, as I've been using the "space added" tag, after having had some of the pages I've edited have the space included (again, for reasons I don't really understand). --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:41, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

No specific reason -- I'm just used to keeping things as simple as possible, removing redundant spaces, unnecessary repetitions and so on. I thought that if both versions work, then the simplier one will be better, but if there's some policy here that says otherwise, I'll respect it of course. --Vysogota T / C
