"It has neither a talent that increases crit bonus" ...: There is at least a talent to increase the crit chance. Or do all other classes have talents to increase the effect of crits?

"Holy Nova damage, heal & mana": The one major unique advantage of this spell is that it creates exactly zero threat. For 5-man AE mobs this is extremely powerful: The tank's first demo shout is enough to keep aggro while the mobs die by nova - and at the same time the tank is healed.

With crit bonus, I meant the bonus damage or healing of a crit. Every other caster class has a talent to raise the crit damage from 150% to 175%, 200% or 210%.

Holy Nova's threat is indeed an advantage, but its far too small to outweigh the downsides. Holy Nova's damage is horrible, its contribution to a fight is negligible. Using it most likely bears more risk than using the mana for healing. If it had a higher efficiency, it would probably be a worthwhile spell, but as it is, HN is hardly more than a fun spell. --bfx 11:04, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
