Messages To Axx

Nice edits. Welcome to WowWiki. :-) --Kinst 22:28, 4 December 2006 (EST)

Thank you! =) --Axx 12:11, 11 December 2006 (EST)

Ew with the graph

Not everyone has a 20 inch (50 cm) widescreen screen. Just thought you might wanna' know.--Sky 02:37, 22 February 2007 (EST)

Ah. Thank you Sky. I will revise the edit. --Axx 03:08, 22 February 2007 (EST)

Lol, you can keep the graph. Just don't make it part of the table. My advice would be to put it at the bottom (I tried styling it for the top right, but that didn't work out...). :)--Sky 02:50, 22 February 2007 (EST)
Yes, I plan on keeping it, but I wanted to remove it until I found a nice way to format it. What do you think about the thumbnail version? --[[[User:Axxchor|Axx]] 03:08, 22 February 2007 (EST)
The whole make it a part of the table doesn't work. ;P. So I moved it down just below.--Sky 02:54, 22 February 2007 (EST)
Hmm, I'll keep tinkering. That doesn't look very pretty. ;_;--Sky 02:55, 22 February 2007 (EST)
kk. Whatever you think looks best. Aesthetics is always the tricky part...dammit. Thank you very much for your input, btw. --Axx 03:08, 22 February 2007 (EST)
How big is your screen, actually? That was a guess. ;p--Sky 03:00, 22 February 2007 (EST)
Haha! Pretty good guess. Its about 21" wide. I actually just got this monitorI will have to keep that in mind when I edit now. =( --Axx 03:08, 22 February 2007 (EST)

Wiki policies

Might want to read up on them. See Project:Policy for a general layout of them and Project:Guild pages policy specifically; I noticed you passed up a few guild pages that should have been stubbed while you were there. :]--Sky 05:24, 26 February 2007 (EST)

Thank you, Sky. I was actually just going through some of my recent contributions double checking things like that. I would like to be as helpful as possible, but I am admittedly a bit of a newb at how things should be done properly. I am always open to your feedback and suggestions. =) --Axx 05:26, 26 February 2007 (EST)
You might also want to take note of the Project:PA policy, then. Other than that, continue on!--Sky 05:34, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Also, when you happen to be stubbing a page, go ahead and add the appropriate banner at the top, ie {{Guild}} or {{PC}}. That will automatically categorize that particular article as well. :)--Sky 05:39, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Excellent. --Axx 05:43, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Look at Project:PA!!! xD--Sky 06:10, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Yes, I realize that PA pages should be moved to the authors sub-page. As soon as I learn to do that I'll take care of it. hehehe! --Axx 06:13, 26 February 2007 (EST)
At least I think that's what you're referring to...--Axx 06:14, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Ah, yes, it must be. You moved Barolas for me. I just read the move help page...so I should be able to do it properly now. --Axx 06:16, 26 February 2007 (EST)
That's how you do that, then. =]. As for the original article, I usually check to see what links there (on the bar on your left), fix those links to the new one, and then tag the old article with {{speedydelete}}. Speaking of which...
Take note of the template {{speedydelete}}. It catches the eyes of the admins a fair site quicker than {{delete}} will. Deletions also have their own policy: Project:Deletion policy.--Sky 06:22, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Yeah, I noted the {{delete}} page earlier. I was pretty cautious about marking my first page for deletion. I will also heed linking pages as you mentioned. Ty!--Axx 06:25, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Not quite on that move. See RC for teh info. :)--Sky 06:26, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Oh, I see. I had a syntax error. --Axx 06:30, 26 February 2007 (EST)

h1 header (=header=)

Not a good idea. A person posting here cannot edit the section as he chooses; he must edit the entire page (bad coding). You should probably move the messages from you to a section at User:Axxchor, and then get rid of the section here which is User:Axxchor/User talk#Messages to Axx. I wouldn't say you have to, but then, sections can't be edited on this page the way it's set up now...--Sky 16:06, 26 February 2007 (EST)
Note that that link would work if it were an h2 header, but since it's only an h1 header... xD--Sky 16:09, 26 February 2007 (EST)

I noticed that the section edit option "went away" but I wasn't sure what way best to deal with it. I am at work now, but I will work on correcting that later this afternoon/night....or when I get tired of actually working. heh. --Axx 16:16, 26 February 2007 (EST)
The section edit issue was not just that I had the incorrect first header, but it is a further problem with {{policytoc}}. I am not a wiki coding expert, but I think {{policytoc}} might somehow have its own headers, effectively making what I want to be h1 into h12 or something. I am not sure how to deal with it apart from removing the template entirely. Check out all the policy pages listed on the policytoc. You cant edit any section on those pages by itself. =) --Axx 22:02, 27 February 2007 (EST)
