Sadly, another symptom of Blizz' instant satisfaction LFD tool --> plenty of Speedy Gonzales runs --> rudeness is ok you'll never see them again anyway --> more rude than nice LFD meetups. LFD doesn't cough up guildies (though now that they try in-realm matches first, this could change). Before LFD how did you get your guildies at all?

A batch of your pals all signed on to WoW at once? For some maybe, but, probably not, and probably not 25 of you. Surely you met the other 14 to 16 people somewhere.

Happened to be near the right meeting stone when an organized run was about to go in, and you looked like a good spec to invite? 1. Lucky you! 2. Happened to me, best OS run evar. And yes, I was a newly minted level 80 in greens and level 78 blues.

Answered a "join a good guild" call on trade? That means you took a chance on some strangers. Good for you. Also means they took a chance on you.

I *enjoy* my time on WoW - some of my local friends are in, and because of it I have a few more non-local friends too. It's a hobby, but I like it. Yeah, I play with them more than I play alone - but I don't refuse to play just because they aren't on, either.
