In the moment of her defeat, her essence was absorbed into Eridia's 
[Soulkeeper Crystal]. Eridia had hope that she can reach Lysonia, hoping to redeem and free her from the darkness that almost claimed her. Despite keeping her essence within the crystal, Eridia still grieved over her second physical death, but Uther told that Lysonia will find her chance to be healed when she returns in her new physical form.
