Akvavit is a horde guild, currently on Twilight's Hammer EU. We are a Swedish raiding guild, and our goal is to provide a good raid opportunity for skilled players, as well as a friendly environment for raiders and socials who knows other people in the guild. Beside regular raids, we also organize raids for socials and alts, as well as side-events and PvP events.

For more information, visit our website or contact Mysticum in game.

History

Akvavit was created 31th October 2010 with members from the former guild <The Apple Conspiracy>. We share a lot of philosophies from the old guild, but have a significant change regarding our raid philosophy. Requirements for regular raiding are a lot thougher in the current guild.

Originally, <The Apple Conspiracy> was created 16th June 2009 as a merge of <Three Apples High> and <The Conspiracy>, both Swedish guilds who needed more people in order to be able to raid during the summer time. Although 25 raiding couldn't be organized every week from the merge, the guild have had succesful raids for 25 players every week from the release of Trial of the Crusader.

With the new guild we aim for quick progress in Cataclysm in both PvE and PvP and hope to preform well despite our limitation to Swedes and only two regular occasions per week.

Guild Progress

Icecrown Citadel

Raiding only two times per week, we were very proud to achieve a server first horde kill on Blood-Queen Lana'thel when Crimson Hall was released.

Currently, we have downed The Lower Spire, The Plagueworks and The Crimson Hall, as well as Valithria Dreamwalker on 25 player heroic. We were also proud to achieve  [Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10 player)] during May, 2010.

Weekly Schedule

  • Wednesday, 19:00 - 23:00 - Regular raid
  • Friday, 19:00 - 23:00 - Optional raid for socials/alts
  • Sunday, 19:00 - 23:00 - Regular raid

We often organize optional side-events in addition to our normal schedule, like raiding old instances or collecting certain achievements.
