Located far east in the deepest reaches of the Upper Shadow Web Caverns, the Sunken Cove is an enormous channel that feeds into the dark underground of Northrend via the frozen sea surrounding the desolate continent. Notorious for being a constantly bloody battleground, the anchorage is a magnet for naga, pirates, and marauding kvaldir looking to breach the inner underground layers in search of treasure and glory through combat. Naturally, this makes the area incredibly unsafe to those who are unprepared for the perpetual onslaught on invaders. Thanks to the gargantuan cave harboring so much violence, the Clockwork Protectorate have been engineering an outpost to watch over tumultuous land. The Sunken Cove appears in the Whispers of Madness expansion.
