A powerful and deadly Obsidian Destroyer, created by the nerubians from enslaved tol'vir in ancient times. Once a free, living individual, the tol'vir Anug Un Rahma led his people to war against the nerubian threat when the Spider Kingdom began to expand into the territories of the earthen and the tol'vir. Like many of his kind, Anug was taken prisoner and corrupted with dark magics and eldritch rituals, transforming a noble creature of living stone into a magical abomination of dark obsidian. Sealed within the Hanging Tower for millennia, abused as a source of dark magic, Anug has degenerated into the monstrous Zuhn. Already dangerous while in his immobile, statue-like form, Zuhn can transform into a more powerful state, granting him mobility and increased magical power.
Zuhn's Abilities
Statue Form
Lock Magic — Rapidly reduces the mana of all targets to zero. Prevents mana regeneration.
Arcane Orb — Conjures an orb that deals arcane damage to random targets. Follows the last target that attacked it. When destroyed, becomes an Arcane Well. Destroyed when its mana is reduced to 0.
Arcane Well — Created from a destroyed Arcane Orb. Deals damage to anyone standing in it, but allows spell-casting without mana.
Blight Orb — Conjures an orb that deals shadow damage to all nearby targets. Loses health over time. Follows the last target that attacked it. When destroyed, creates a patch of Blighted Earth.
Blighted Earth — Deals shadow damage to anyone standing in it. Blighted Earth spawns undead monsters.
Destroyer Form
Released Magic — Ambient mana in the air provides temporary enhanced mana regeneration.
Devour Essence — Devours the energy of anyone standing in the area of effect, dealing periodic shadow damage. If the target remains within the area of effect when 10 seconds pass, they will be instantly slain as their very soul is sucked out.
Devour Mana — Conjures several small zones of energy at the locations of all spell-casters. Drains the target for 10% of their total mana every second for 10 seconds while they remain in the zone.
Arcane Inferno — Breathes waves of arcane flames over a large area, dealing arcane damage to everyone in their path.
Orb of Destruction — Conjures an Orb of Destruction and hurls it at a random target, dealing damage to everyone near the impact zone.
Strategy
Zuhn, the Obsidian Destroyed, can be encountered in his statue form in the Darkened Terrace in heroic mode. Zuhn will begin the encounter sealed in his statue form, surrounded by several Arcane Orbs. He will not be able to move, but he can still attack the party with his spells and abilities. His most potent ability is to drain mana from his opponents and prevent mana regeneration. Players who do not use mana to fuel their abilities will receive equivalent debuffs, as well as benefiting from equivalent bonuses conferred by Arcane Wells.
When Zuhn's health in his statue form has been depleted, he will transform into his destroyer form and use all of his abilities until he is slain.
