Class Hall - The Spider's Web

The Spider's Web is a series of secret tunnels underneath Doorward that lead all over the Spider Kingdom. Nerubians work with rogues here. Campaign involves a precise series of thefts, assassinations, and sabotage missions that other classes encounter over time, including recovering a fragment of the Eye of Nerub from a heavily guarded aqir stronghold. The ultimate enemy is the shadowy arach'layn swordsmaster Zephon the Venomous, who clashes with the rogue on more than one occasion.

Class Hall Special Benefits

Rogue's get special fast-travel system using their secret tunnels. Rogues can also find special locked treasure that only they can access. Sometimes stealing the treasure will summon vicious defenders - slaying them could be even more rewarding.

Blades of the Eternal Riddle, Mystery and Enigma

The rogues must deal with ethereal criminals, liberating the deadly warp-powered Blades of the Eternal Riddle from ethereal strongholds. The blades channel unknown arcane, void, and warp energies to destroy their targets unerringly.

The Obsidian Destroyers, Zeram'ash (Walker in Shadow) and Nagat'zun (the Ferryman)

The rogues venture into a forbidden aqir tomb to gather relics of the tol'vir, the Obsidian Destroyers, two mighty blades of razor-sharp black stone imbued with powers over life and death.

Talons of the Eclipse, the Talon of Ruhkmar and the Talon of Sethe

The rogues must travel to the shadowy ruins of Arak in Outland to face the broken spirits of Ruhkmar and Sethe, forces of elemental fire and darkness that bestow the Talons of the Eclipse.

The Kingslayer, Anguish and Sorrow | The Widowmakers, Venom and Toxin

Hunt down the dreaded arach'layn and their deadly spiders in the depths of Zul'Aman. Imbued the blades with the venom of Maexxna's brood. Deal with the spider ancient, Shadra, to empower the blades further.

The Dreadblades, Fate and Fortune | The Scarlet Masquerade, Rubric and Encarmine

Infiltrate the last of the Scarlet Onslaught remnants and find the Blood Forge of the Nathrezim they've created. Infuse the blades with blood magic, empowering them.

Fangs of the Devourer, Gorefang and Akaari's Will | The Shadowfang Blades, Void Fang and Soul Ripper

Sabotage operation against the Twilight Hammer cult, ultimately slaughtering a Voidhound they summon. The daggers drink the power of the void and evolve

Campaign Storyline

Campaign involves a precise series of thefts, assassinations, and sabotage missions that other classes encounter over time, including recovering a fragment of the Eye of Nerub from a heavily guarded aqir stronghold. The ultimate enemy is the shadowy eldre'layn swordsmaster Zephon the Venomous, who clashes with the rogue on more than one occasion. Rogues also steal the fragments of the Eye of Nerub from Doorward, the same fragments they and other players recovered from various dungeons during the main game storyline and turn over to the Doorward leaders for safekeeping. Rogues must eventually purge the organization of its very founders when the nerubians turn on them, leaving them in control of the Spider's Web and in possession of the Eye of Nerub, events which will have ramifications for the main story beyond the initial X.0 storyline.

Beyond X.1

The rogues learn that an enemy thought destroyed has survived and seeks to hide in the shadows and rebuilds its power. This must not be allowed. An elaborate campaign of assassination and sabotage must be undertaken to ensure that the enemy is truly dispatched.
